A full redesign for a 40-year-old ventilation contractor, moving from a slow WordPress build to a fast headless site. Mobile PageSpeed jumped from 56 to 98.

Before

After

BVS already had a solid reputation, but their old WordPress site, built on Divi, had become slow, hard to manage, and didn't reflect the quality of their work or the specialist sectors they operate in. The goal was simple: build something that actually represented the business properly, made things easier for customers, and gave them room to grow.
I started with a full review of the existing site, the content, and how people actually used it. I reorganised the structure so customers could find services, industries, case studies, and technical information without digging around for it, and built the content with SEO in mind so BVS had a real shot at ranking for the HVAC and mechanical services searches that matter to them.
The biggest technical decision was moving away from a traditional Divi WordPress build while keeping things simple for the BVS team to manage day to day. I went with a headless setup: a fast React frontend on top of WordPress as the CMS, so they kept the familiar WordPress editing experience along with the performance and security of a modern build.
Performance was the clearest win. The old site scored 56 out of 100 on mobile and 69 out of 100 on desktop for Google PageSpeed. The new one hits 98 on mobile and a perfect 100 on desktop, a genuinely faster site for visitors, and a real boost for SEO and search visibility.
I also rebuilt how they manage case studies, blog posts, services, and product information, so BVS can keep adding to the site as the business grows without needing a full rebuild again.
The result is a fast, modern website that actually reflects the quality of BVS's work, makes life easier for potential customers, and gives them a platform they can keep building on.
